The Bank of England have announced that it will become the first central bank to conduct tests on how well the economy is prepared to withstand the changes related to Climate Change. Mogambo exists to take advantage of this change by using innovative finance and technology.

Mogambo looks for projects where pollution is rendering the operation of a business or asset commercially unviable. With our technology we can turn these assets around by reducing their emissions and therefore making them sustainable and green. We have a few key focus areas:
DESULFURIZATION
Sulphur is a major problem in the world today. Sulphur emissions cause severe adverse effects to human life; including poisoning local water supplies, acid rain and respiratory disease. SOx is a byproduct released when burning fossil fuels and is emitted at dangerous levels around the world. The most common method of removing sulphur from industrial processes is by installing very expensive equipment and scrubbing the flue gas with water and limestone. As limestone is in limited supply and water is an increasingly scarce resource, this solution is insufficient in addressing the problem. Mogambo instead uses the carbon dioxide emissions from industry to remove the sulphur from the air without the use of water or limestone. As a result Mogambo can remove sulphur emissions at a fraction of the cost with no impact on water supply. We know this solution can save lives, especially in developing countries where clean water, funding for power projects and pollution control is scarce.
CO2 REDUCTION
Carbon Dioxide emissions is a major contributor to Climate Change and Mogambo are working hard to support the decarbonization of our planet. With our partners we currently have a proprietary technology that can reduce significant amounts of Carbon Dioxide from factories by producing new chemicals out of the emissions.

Mogambo is looking to acquire heavy polluting assets in order to use our technology to convert them into sustainable industry. We believe that by using our technology we can convert vital but heavy polluting companies into clean low emissions symbols of the new economy. Industries that were focusing on include:
Shipping
The shipping industry is facing significant changes with the introduction of sulphur regulation, leading to higher operational (opex) and capital (capex) costs.
Power Plants
Coal fire is on the descent but through our technology we can clean these emissions to sustainable levels.
Mining
Sulphur is a principle by product of many mining processes, Mogambo are actively looking for projects to clean these emissions.
Oil Refineries
The oil industry is vital to the planets near term energy supply but as a major contributor to climate change the industry is at risk. With the ability to clean polluting assets, Mogambo is a partner for the industry.
Waste to Energy Plants
The conversion of waste to energy is an important step towards building a circular economy but this must not come at the expense of emissions. Therefore Mogambo is looking at sulphur emitting waste to energy sites where it can deploy its technology.
